Ingredients:

1 lb Ground Turkey
Garlic lots
1 yellow onion diced
Chili Beans
Tomato sauce
Chili seasoning
Ground cumin
Vegitable oil
Habanero powder
Cheddar cheese shredded
Sour cream (optional)
Instructions:
- Brown the Meat: In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Sauté the Vegetables: Add the diced onion, garlic, Cook for about 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables are softened.
- Add Spices: Stir in the chili powder, cumin, habanero , salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional minute to toast the spices and release their flavors.
- Incorporate the Tomatoes and Beans Stir well to combine.
- Simmer: Bring the chili to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer uncovered for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. If you prefer a thicker chili, let it simmer longer.
